The fishing team was on site today, kicking off the fish rescue, and catching sample fish to confirm they are healthy. The contractor appointed by British Waterways will be onsite from tomorrow (Wednesday). To begin with he’ll be preparing his work area, and making way for fish tanks and clear transportation etc. It’s likely he won’t begin the actual rescue operation until the end of the week.
