Lichfield District Council’s countryside and parks teams have established a group to take part in conservation work across the district.
Meeting on the first Wednesday of every month (except January), so far the group has built hedges at Christian Fields, cleared scrub and made habitat piles at Ironstone Road, and created a wildlife pond and bug hotel in Beacon Park.
Anyone over 18 years of age is welcome to join the group. No experience is needed and tools and training will be provided.
Keep an eye on our events page for news of upcoming conservation group events.
