The enterprising Lichfield District Tourism Association (LDTA) is celebrating the 1st birthday of the Lichfield Real Ale Trail, which has been very successful in bringing many visitors to the city from far and wide to enjoy the fine ales now available in the city pubs.
The LDTA which has over 120 members across the district all involved in the tourism business, aims to attract more visitors to the city and beyond.
This will be a double celebration with the launch of a new real ale specially brewed by Blythe Brewery at Hamstall Ridware the beer will be called David Garrick Golden Ale, which will be available in many of the Real Ale Trail pubs.
This special celebration will take place on Friday February 10th 2.00pm at Dr Johnson Birthplace in Market Street
