Last Friday I met up with the Prime Minister at the National Memorial Arboretum, together with Cllr Phil Atkins who is leader of Staffordshire County Council.

I was delighted to escort David Cameron around the new Falklands Memorial at the Arboretum. David Cameron spent about forty minutes with us, looking at the new memorial and also the new development plans for a stunning new visitor centre at the Arboretum.

We also spoke about Lichfield’s development plans and about the significance of the Arboretum to the local community, the region and the nation.
