Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park 2013 is set to take place on Saturday 7 September.
Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park is Lichfield District Council’s free annual outdoor concert for the whole family.
Now in its fifteenth year, the event is an opportunity to enjoy a late summer evening of al fresco dining, live classical music and fireworks.
Since the first concert in 1998, Lichfield Proms has grown from strength to strength, establishing itself as an eagerly anticipated date in Lichfield’s calendar.
Attracting thousands of visitors from across the region, Lichfield Proms takes place in the stunning surroundings of Beacon Park.
A brass band plays a programme of popular music to warm up the crowd as they find their spots. This leads up to the main concert which features a symphony orchestra and classically trained singers performing a varied musical programme. The evening culminates with a rousing sing-song and a firework finale.
So, get your Union flags and hats at the ready, and put a date in the diary for the event of the summer!
