The Birmingham Road Site (BRS), situated at the southern edge of Lichfield City centre, is a prime development site that offers the opportunity for the key stakeholders including Lichfield District Council as the landowner, local businesses, local partners, the Lichfield BID and local people to transform it into a new city area that meets the needs of our growing and changing community.
It is envisaged that the site will be developed in two stages:
- Delivery of a temporary improvements during 2019 that lays the foundations for a longer-term scheme, and makes the site safer, more useful and more attractive. Find out more.

We have put this website together to keep you up to date on progress in relation to the Birmingham Road Site, let you know when key events are taking place, including community consultation events, outline key dates and stages, and to give you an opportunity to have your say.
