Date and timings

Timings of events can change, but normal timings are:

  • 5pm onwards – Car parking available.
  • 5.30pm onwards – Catering, children’s activities.
  • 6pm to 9.45pm – Music ending with a fireworks finale.

As this is a live event, it can finish early or run over slightly.

During the fireworks display the wooden bridge is closed, so if an early exit is needed, please use other exits.

£1 programmes available and £5 car parking donation, which includes a programme. Prices may be subject to change.

We’d appreciate if you can please buy programmes and place donations in our collection buckets during the event, or donate online.

Car parking, drop off and pick up

Parking is available in Beacon Park from 5pm – just follow the signs from the A51 Western by-pass, into Lower Sandford Street.

Use WS13 6RA for online route planners.

A disabled parking area is available – just show your blue badge to the marshal.

Please follow the instructions of the car park marshals on arrival.

We ask for a car parking donation of £5, which includes a programme. Prices may be subject to change.

For drop off, pick up and taxis, please use the bay on Bird Street WS13 6PN.

Hiring tables and chairs for the evening

Prime seating is £70 per table of 4.

Bookings must be pre-booked via Eventbrite and you will be given a paper table cloth as you arrive but, should you wish to bring your own, the tables are 4ft by 2ft (120cm by 60cm). 

We also offer our deckchair seating area which is £10 per person.

Gazebos

Details of how to book a gazebo will be published closer to the night. Prices may be subject to change.

There will be gazebo drop off spaces available on Bunkers Hill car park off Lower Sandford Street WS13 6RA.

If you need help please ask a member of staff as cars are not allowed to drive to the gazebo area. Please ensure your gazebo is secure. If it is not secure, it may be removed. We reserve the right to take down any gazebos we feel are unsafe or not located in the designated area. You may be asked to remove gazebo walls due to neighbouring gazebos.

We do not accept any responsibility for damage to your property, and you pitch at your own risk. In case of high winds NO gazebos will be allowed to pitch.

Forbidden items

For public safety, we do not permit:

  • Barbecues
  • Lanterns
  • Open fires
  • Drones

Food and drink

A selection of catering will be available on the night.

You are welcome to bring your own picnics and refreshments.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome to Beacon Park.

However, we strongly recommend you leave your dog at home for this event due to the number of people, fireworks and loud music.
