Just a quick update on the meetings I have been having across the district in the last couple of weeks.

On Friday 9 June I meat Darren Leaver, Chairman of Lichfield City FC and Liam Health. I received a tour of the club and heard about their exciting plans for the future of the club.

It was great to build relationships and meet people who are passionate about the sport and the district.

In the evening on the same day I attended the Annual General Meeting of the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust and met Sir David Suchet, their Vice-President. It was good to hear the future plans and to see how to get involved as we work to preserve these historical waterways.
