If you did not have your photo taken at the election count, please pop into District Council House, Lichfield, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, and ask for your councillor ID photo to be taken.
We cannot produce your ID card, which also allows you into the car park and the District Council House, until we have taken your photograph. The photo we take will be used on your ID card only.
We will also take a professional photograph for your online profile page (www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/councillors) and for use in the press. We have arranged for a photographer to attend Annual Council on 23 May.
More information will be sent to your council email address about this soon.
You will receive an email/phone call to let you know your ID badge is ready to collect from the District Council House. For security purposes, please wear your ID badge at all times when on council premises.
Your ID badge allows you:
- entry into the District Council House car park on weekdays for council business. Please note the car
park is open to the public and pay and display on weekends. - entry to District Council House building through the Members’ entrance (rear of the car park) for
evening meetings, and staff entrance/reception (8.45am – 5.15pm weekdays) - to use the photocopiers/printers for council purposes.
Don’t worry if you haven’t received your ID card in time for your induction session or first Council meeting. Officers will be on hand to get you in the building if required. The car park barrier will either be open, or if you have to buzz at the barrier, let the reception team know you are a new councillor.
